Our Team
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lawyer with at least 5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, with proven expertise in crypto, blockchain, or Web3. You will play a pivotal role in advising on complex commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives.
What Will You Do?
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and licensing agreements.
- Advise on global regulatory frameworks related to crypto, blockchain, and Web3 technologies, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions.
- Provide expert legal counsel to internal stakeholders on commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters.
- Identify and mitigate potential legal risks, particularly in areas unique to the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors.
- Support fundraising, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions within the Web3 space.
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to address emerging legal and regulatory challenges.
- Work closely with external counsel, regulators, and industry groups to shape the legal landscape of blockchain technology.
What Are We Looking For?
- Minimum 5 years of PQE in commercial law, ideally within a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team.
- Strong expertise in crypto, blockchain, and Web3-related legal and regulatory matters.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- In-depth understanding of international regulatory frameworks affecting blockchain and cryptocurrency businesses.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with startups or high-growth tech companies.
- Knowledge of intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity laws as they relate to blockchain and Web3.
