My client is a build to rent developer and operator, they build high end schemes all around the UK. They are looking for an experience building/facilities manager to assist in the mobilisation of their brand new scheme in North London.


Role Overview:


As the Building/Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the mobilisation of this brand new build to rent development and then go on to overseeing the day-to-day operations ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction and property maintenance. You will play a vital role in fostering a welcoming and enjoyable living environment for our residents while upholding the property's standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of property operations, facilities management, maintenance, and tenant relations.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, requests, and concerns, striving to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to address repairs and maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the leasing team to maintain high occupancy rates and minimize vacancy periods.
  • Implement and enforce property policies and procedures to promote a positive living experience for residents.
  • Prepare and manage the property budget, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in property management, preferably in a Build-to-Rent or multifamily residential setting.
  • Facilities management experience - Hard and Soft Services
  • Mobilisation experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
