Company Description

MiRiCal Emblems Ltd, located in the East Midlands, are a second-generation family business specialising in the manufacture of heat-applied garment decoration products for use on workwear, safetywear and sportswear. With the impending retirement of a key member of our field-sales team coming shortly, we are looking to hire a replacement, ideally with a home-base along the M62 corridor in West Yorkshire.

Job Description

Some field-sales experience is preferred, especially with a textiles and/or print background; but full product-specific training will be provided. In a typical week, you’ll spend around four days on the road making a mix of pre-arranged and cold calls to both existing and new customers in a pre-defined territory along the M62/A1 axis.


This job is field-based with a home office so you will be required to hold a full valid driver’s licence with no more than three penalty points; the company will provide you with an all-expenses-paid company car (Skoda Karoq or similar), work phone, and laptop/notebook.


You will build relationships with our customers’ purchasing and sales functions as well as training operatives on the best ways to use our products. You will also provide support to customers regarding both their product orders and heat press machines, helping to answer and resolve questions and queries whilst encouraging the correct application of our heat-applied products.


In addition to this, you will be required to cold call in an attempt to gain new customers within your working area. You will spend one day of the week doing admin, researching, and planning for the week ahead for who to visit next, in which you will log and report back to the Head of Sales at the end of each working week.


Industries we supply to include laundries, workwear, sportswear, etc., consisting of both original equipment manufacturers and distribution.


You will work a 40-hour week with no weekend working in return for which you will receive a generous and competitive basic salary (we don’t do hard sell so there are no commissions involved), your full-expensed car, a workplace pension and 20 days paid holiday per annum plus bank holidays (rising to 25 days with continued service).
