SMC808 – Fund Accountant

Excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant with solid knowledge and experience of alternative Fund structures to join a rapidly expanding financial organisation. The successful candidate will join an existing team, and will be responsible for facilitating and delivering on migration of existing and new fund services clients and structures, across multiple fund services locations globally.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with internal with colleagues to deliver on a varied portfolio of clients, for end-to-end migration and onboarding to in-house system.
  • Setting up fund structures in in-house system, for end-to-end accounting and administration (including fund configuration, accounting data and investment records etc.).
  • Escalating data, documentation or procedural issues, as required.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of status to relevant Project Lead.
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities.

Skills & experience required:

  • ACCA Qualified (or equivalent) – Essential
  • Solid experience of Fund Accounting / Accounting within Fund services – Essential
  • Working knowledge of eFront – Essential
  • Strong organisation skills, able to prioritise workload and work to a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as using own initiative.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
