The role


An in-house role closely partnering with the business. Essentially a broad real estate position with some interesting commercial work. Responsibilities include:


Real Estate:

  • Portfolio management including landlord and tenant, lease agreements and payment strategy.
  • Acquisitions and expansion work
  • Some contentious matters that needs management


Commercial:

Facilities, maintenance and consultancy agreements related to the real estate portfolio.


About you


  • Qualified lawyer from the UK, EU or a common law jurisdiction. Good academics and legal training.
  • Minimum of 4.5 years PQE negotiating, drafting, and advising in relation to transactional real estate contracts. PQE is a guide only.
  • Must have some in-house experience or close client/stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent writing, speaking, and people skills; collaborative and organised.
  • Takes initiative to address problems and make process improvements.
