ROLE PURPOSE

The Business Insights and Analytics Manager is responsible for exploring, enhancing and analysing all available data to influence future initiatives and business strategy. The role involves partnering with key functions; sales, marketing, finance and medical to develop strategies to optimise Merz Aesthetics operations and commercial performance.


MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES (includes but not limited too)

  • Lead the development of insights across all commercial areas, identify the critical commercial business questions that need answering and provide insight, standardised reporting, user expectations, capability, and deeper business analytics to help drive action.
  • Lead the advocacy for data and insights within the organisation by inspiring, teaching and empowering others to use data. Increase commercial awareness and adoption in the business via training and improving capability.
  • Represent Aesthetics UK & I at a Regional and Global level, translating complex data into meaningful insights
  • Actively contributes to the Aesthetics UK & I leadership team, shaping the business
  • Developing and delivering a future-thinking business intelligence (BI) framework and strategy, working in collaboration Regional and Global.


KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

  • Build and maintain a network of internal and external customers to support insights gathering
  • Close cross-functional working across Marketing, Medical, Finance and Sales Leadership Team


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

  • Demonstrable experience in sales, sales operations, insights, finance, or analytics;
  • Significant business experience in Commercial Analytics or equivalent function
  • Demonstrate a high level of curiosity, consultation skills and integrity
  • Stakeholder management and a track record of delivering insights into action
  • Excellent commercial & analytical skills, driving to action
  • Strong credibility, business acumen and professionalism
  • Proficiency with data analytics and visualisation tools
  • Experience with advanced data visualization and tools
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and Power BI skills to prepare communications, functional spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Excellent knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, visual analytics, salesforce
  • Excellent technical ability and proficiency with online tools
  • Knowledge of customer success tools and KPIs
