Fire Alarm Design Engineer

This role is based in Kidderminster and offers an excellent chance to grow your career within the fire alarm and AOV system industry. Candidates should be enthusiastic, professional, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively to deliver outstanding results for clients.
Responsibilities
- Preparing designs and quotations for Fire Alarm Systems and other related solutions.
- Collaborating with regional Business Development Teams across multiple locations.
- Conducting site surveys when needed.
- Ensuring all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Meeting quotas, deadlines, and budget requirements.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
Qualifications and Experience
- Ideally, a Level 3 qualified designer with at least 3 years of experience in designing and estimating fire alarm systems, or an experienced engineer with a minimum of 5 years in the industry looking to advance their career.
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations such as BS5839 parts 1 & 6, RRFSO, BS7273-4, BS9999, BS9991, and Approved Document B.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with other relevant software.
- A keen interest in technology and the ability to provide innovative, cost-effective solutions.
