The Sales Account Manager is responsible for covering the London area for servicing designated consultants and customers in terms of quotations, order negotiation and after sales support. As well as focusing on selling a range of HVAC products across the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration markets with a main focus across the AHU refurbishment and upgrade markets. You will be selling into a range of clients across the M&E and FM sectors ranging from end users, specifiers and more.


Responsibilities

  • Solicit enquiries, provide technical support and provide quotations for client’s requirements
  • Negotiate orders and transmit order packages to head office for execution
  • Works with National Sales Manager to implement sale strategies, provide technical assistance and product applications information to customers
  • Generates reports on sale activities and make periodic sales forecasts.
  • Attends meetings at customer premises and company offices
  • Assists marking in development and marketing tools.
  • Investigates complaints and take necessary action to resolve conflicts.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested


Qualifications


  • Minimum GSCSE Qualifications (A*- C)
  • HNC/D Degree in Mechanical / HVAC discipline or equivalent would be an advantage
  • Ideally with AHU knowledge
