Position Overview


We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. You will drive our growth in the medicinal cannabis sector by engaging with GMC-registered clinicians, developing compliant sales and marketing materials, and hosting patient focus groups. Your efforts will ensure our products meet clinical needs and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities


  • Engage with GMC-registered clinicians to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Develop and refine sales and marketing strategies & materials in accordance with MHRA regulations.
  • Organise and host patient focus groups to gather insights into patient needs and preferences.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the medicinal cannabis sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product offerings align with market demands.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide regular reports on business development activities and outcomes to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in business development processes and strategies.


Candidate Requirements


  • Proven experience in business development within the medicinal cannabis or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong understanding of MHRA regulations & compliance for pharmaceutical marketing materials.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; ability to engage with clinicians & patients effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
  • Motivated self-starter with a passion for driving growth & making a meaningful impact in the industry.
  • Demonstrated ability & adaptability working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
