Azure Cloud Architect is required by our client in London to join a high-performing Cloud Transformation team to take ownership in best-practise and design across their Azure eco-system. Our client is keen to discover a Azure Cloud Architect who will effectively be the technical


As Azure Cloud Architect not only will you take ownership of a complex estate, but you will be accountable for designing and implementing cloud architecture solutions on Azure. Additionally you may be required to work on projects across AWS which would comprise effectively 30% of this role; you don ‘t need to be proficient, but have an open attitude to working across a multi-cloud environment; effectively you will be the design authority for the cloud function for our client within their Cloud Centre of Excellence.


Some of the key focuses in this Azure Cloud Architect will be across the definition and production of Cloud Architecture deliverables including patterns and standards. You will additionally determine the technology system architecture and functional design needed to support and meet business objectives.

As Azure Cloud Architect you will interface with Architectural leadership for programmes and projects

• Research, evaluate and derive benefits of new tools and techniques

• Ensure projects comply with the defined cloud standards and Frameworks


**Working in a hybrid working culture as Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect, the expectation is that you will be onsite in the City of London for at least 8 days a month.**


Azure Cloud Architect permanent profile required:

  • Must be well versed in Microsoft Azure Cloud platform; proficiencies in AWS cloud platforms are beneficial.
  • Well accustomed to utilising IaC tools like Terraform, ARM and Cloudformation
  • Highly proficient in networking, storage and virtualization
  • Seeking a Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect with good fundamentals in DevOps practices and automation tools eg Azure DevOps and GitHub ideally.
  • Solid background in developing and reviewing technical documentation such as HLDs, LLDs, user guides, release notes etc
  • Familiarity of both traditional and agile delivery methodology.
  • Must have a degree in Computer Science or similar qualification.

Start date: ASAP.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Up to £75,000 + 20% on target bonus and 10% car allowance + additional benefits package.

Days onsite: Hybrid, up to 8 days onsite a month

Location: London
