Are you seeking a new business development role within an organisation that really puts emphasis on their customer experience? Our client offers later life lending to the market and are currently recruiting for an experienced, Business Development Manager to join them.


The patch this role covers includes Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth, Salisbury, Swindon, Hemel Hempstead, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Coventry, Birmingham, Telford, Leicester, Peterborough, Derby, Luton and Nottingham. With such a diverse patch, this role will really give you an opportunity to build contacts and develop relationships over a much wider area.


Our client can offer a competitive basic salary, £5k car allowance plus a generous bonus scheme.


The role of Business Development Manager is all around raising awareness of our clients and the type of mortgages they offer.

Duties will include:

  • Take a strategic approach to sales by using the available systems and data to identify the best-performing brokers to manage relationships with, and ultimately achieve your target.
  • Identifying opportunities for new relationships using data, testing the opportunity, and taking the appropriate strategic action.
  • Finding and targeting the appropriate people in firms to build relationships with, to increase the chance of applications.
  • Seeking qualitative feedback from brokers about our products and services to help us to identify new product/development opportunities and new areas of the market to penetrate.
  • Attending industry events, representing and operating as an expert in your field.


The successful candidate will possess:

  • Solid experience in business development specifically in mortgages.
  • Exposure/experience in the later-life lending market.
  • Existing relationships within the desired patch.
