About the Job:


We are seeking an ambitious, creative, and dynamic Brand Manager to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing marketing campaigns, ensuring our brand message resonates with our target audience. You will engage in a diverse range of responsibilities, each day presenting new challenges and opportunities. You will be coordinating all internal and external stakeholders, to ensure all campaigns are launched seamlessly. We are looking for a rising star marketer with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. This position demands a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and creative thinking.

Mother Root is the ACV aperitif. A strong non-alcoholic drink that serves up a dose of good feelings. For those moments just before a meal, our drinks are all about anticipation. We have acquired over 23,000 new customers in the last 6 months alone, grown over 400% year on year and we're also Amazon’s number one best selling non alcoholic brand in the UK. Now we’re ready to take the business to the next level with ambitious, creative and well-executed brand campaigns.

Specific Tasks:


Campaign Management: Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and printed materials. Ensure all campaigns are on brief and deliver key messages that resonate with consumers.


Project Management: Oversee the management of the internal team in addition to freelancers and agencies, providing clear briefs and ensuring deliverables meet our standards.


Event Planning and Management: Support the team in planning and managing events, contributing to our ambitious goals by turning creative ideas into reality.


Marketing Experimentation: Dive into marketing experimentation, including flyering, sampling, email campaigns, promotions, influencer gifting, website updates, and merchandise. Plan, execute, and analyse the success of various marketing experiments.


Customer Journey Mapping: Map out calendar moments, agree on them with the team, and execute bitesize newsletters, promotions, and competitions.


Financial Acumen: Understand and manage the P&L, perform post-launch reviews, and analyse the effectiveness of marketing programs to identify new opportunities.


About You:


Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably in the premium drink or food industry.


Entrepreneurial Mindset: Looking to progress your career in a fast-paced environment.


Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to land your key messages and win hearts and minds


Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, as well as cross functionally.


Creativity: Obsessed with food and drink, and enjoy channelling that into your work.


Storytelling: A natural writer who can find interesting storylines in the mundane everyday.


Trend Awareness: Always on top of rising trends and love brand storytelling.


Results-Oriented: Ready to learn the commercial levers of a growing e-commerce business.

Important Details:


Position: Full-time permanent position starting from July 2024.


Salary: £42,000 per annum salary and benefits package.


Location: Office-based in Southwark, London, with 4 days in office.
