About the Role:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Exhibition Portfolio Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy for their flagship large-scale show in a really exciting sector This is an incredible opportunity to showcase your expertise in driving impactful marketing campaigns, managing a talented team, and positioning their event as a must-attend experience within the industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive attendance, exhibitor participation, and overall brand awareness for our client’s show.
  • Leverage a mix of traditional, digital, and content marketing tactics to reach target audiences and maximize event visibility.
  • Collaborate with sales, content, and operations teams to ensure alignment on messaging, goals, and timelines.


  • Team Leadership:
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of three marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Provide guidance on campaign development, creative direction, and performance tracking, ensuring the team delivers high-quality work that meets strategic objectives.


  • Budget Management:
  • Set and manage the marketing budget for the show, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor and report on budget performance, adjusting tactics as needed to stay within financial parameters while achieving marketing goals.


  • Market Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, audience behaviour, and the competitive landscape.
  • Analyse campaign performance data, attendee demographics, and exhibitor feedback to refine strategies and improve outcomes for future events.


  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors, media partners, and industry influencers, to amplify the show’s reach and impact.
  • Ensure consistent communication and collaboration with senior management, providing regular updates on marketing performance and strategic initiatives.


  • Brand Management:
  • Oversee the brand positioning and messaging for the show, ensuring it resonates with target audiences and reflects the event’s unique value proposition.
  • Maintain and enhance the show’s brand presence across all marketing channels, including social media, email, web, and print.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in exhibition or event marketing, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale shows.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a marketing team and driving high-performance results.
