Role Responsibilities

In the role of Financial Controller, you will:

  • Take full ownership of the month-end process and financial reporting, ensuring integrity across the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting consolidation processes, providing thorough financial analysis to support business reviews.
  • Oversee the Balance Sheet and reconciliation processes, identifying risks and opportunities within UK and ROI financial statements.
  • Prepare statutory accounts to draft stage, supporting both internal and external audits.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for payroll information and high-value invoice/credit note approvals, ensuring governance and compliance.


About You

To excel as a Financial Controller, you will have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with strong post-qualification experience.
  • Advanced analytical and commercial skills, especially in Excel, complemented by first-class forecasting and budgeting credentials.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, enabling you to convey complex information to senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong decision-making and time management skills, with demonstrated resilience and the capacity to manage conflicting demands.
  • A collaborative spirit, with the ability to lead, influence and drive change at all organisational levels.
