About the Pub

The Tally Ho is a landmark building steeped with history in the local area with a real passion for its customers, sports, and entertainment. The Tally Ho is an attractive, recently refurbished, well presented, warm and characterful large pub at the intersection of Ballards Lane and the High Road (Great North Road) known as Tally Ho Corner in North Finchley. Its location can be considered as both Town Centre with the mix of local businesses and shops etc. nearby, and yet Suburban due to all the sprawling residential streets of family homes and modern flats, both markets which the Tally Ho appeals to.

With two entrances you enter from either side of the pub which on the ground floor has four distinct interconnecting seating areas. The ‘sports area’ has 3 booths with TVs and seating for over 40 covers, the ‘lower bar’ has high tables and accommodates circa 30 covers, in the ‘main bar’ there are 2 pool tables and darts and going into the ‘conservatory’ a total of circa 40covers across a mix of seating options which in all creates a varied environment suiting differing occasions. Through the conservatory you gain access to the enclosed courtyard garden with its 10 benches and TV screen. Up on the first floor is the restaurant/function room with its own bar, toilets and seating laid out for + 40covers and up to 100 capacities for functions.

This is a sports focused pub with regular activities such as the weekly weekend DJ sessions that benefits from its 2am late licence on Fridays and Saturdays.
