Gro Careers is proud to present an exclusive opportunity for Qualified Architects to join one of the UK's most acclaimed architectural design studios. Renowned for its forward-thinking approach to design, positive work culture, and commitment to professional growth, this studio consistently sets the standard for excellence within the realms of Architecture.
As an architect here, you will experience something truly unique....starting from the moment you walk through the door.
A Day in the Life: "Welcome to Your New Studio...."
Your day begins with a short commute to our clients central London office, easily accessible from several nearby underground stations. As you arrive, you’re greeted by the friendly concierge who always seems to remember your name despite there being almost 100 members of your new studio You step into the foyer, greeted by the scent of freshly brewed coffee and the hum of creativity in the air.
Making your way up to one of the buildings top floors, the elevator doors open to reveal a breath-taking panoramic view of London. It's the kind of view that inspires. The studio’s sleek, modernist design, with its elegant furnishings and sophisticated finishes, offers a workspace that feels more like a boutique hotel than a traditional office. The space has been crafted with care, designed to energise creativity and foster collaboration.
The atmosphere is already buzzing. A potential client tours the studio, guided by senior architects, admiring the quality and style that this team consistently delivers. You pass through the open-plan workspace, bathed in natural light and designed with flexibility in mind, until you reach a desk that takes your fancy today, a spacious setup with dual monitors, ready for you to plug in your top spec laptop and start working on a career-defining project.
This is not just an office; it's a place where every detail has been considered to inspire your best work.
The Projects: Flagship and Career-Defining
You’ll be joining a team working on some of the UK’s most prestigious architectural projects. Team sizes vary, and collaboration is key. Whether you’re working in a tight-knit group of 3-5 or a larger team of 20+, you’ll be involved in projects that are as challenging as they are rewarding...flagship projects that will mark milestones in your career These are the kinds of projects you envisioned working on during your journey to becoming a qualified Architect, where your creativity and expertise will leave a lasting impact.
Every two weeks, the entire studio gathers for a bi-weekly update. Project teams present their work, senior staff outline the firm’s pipeline, and you’re reminded just how far ahead this studio is in terms of securing projects (well into 2025/26). You’ll feel secure knowing that work-life balance is a priority here, with new staff being brought on to support the existing team.
The Studio Culture: "A Teaching Practice"
The firm prides itself on its mentorship culture, where learning and professional development are embedded in everyday practice. You'll have access to seasoned architects who are eager to share their expertise, and in turn, you'll be expected to mentor junior colleagues, contributing to an environment where everyone grows together.
This is a studio that believes in open communication and transparency. Promotion pathways are clear and internal mobility is prioritised...before going to the market, they look inward, rewarding loyalty and performance with career advancement.
Who We’re Looking For...
To meet growing demand, the studio is now looking to bring on Qualified Architects who can:
- Bring strong UK project experience, ideally on medium to large-scale projects ranging from £5m to £50m, with any project exposure working on schemes exceeding £100m being very welcome
- Be proficient in Revit on live BIM projects (must be demonstrated in folio).
- Demonstrate leadership when necessary, but also operate autonomously...interfacing with clients and contractors, and delivering highly creative, design-led projects from planning through to completion.
- Embrace the teaching culture, supporting less experienced colleagues while actively contributing to the studio's collaborative ethos.
- Deliver design and technical packages for high-end projects, proving your ability to handle both creative and technical challenges.
The Rewards: A Career and Environment Like No Other
You’ll be joining a studio that is as invested in your growth as you are. With a competitive salary ranging from £48,500 to £55,000, depending on your experience and the autonomy you bring to the role, you will also benefit from annual bonuses typically between £3,000 and £8,000.
And while the studio offers flexible working arrangements with 1-2 days of remote work per week, we have a feeling you’ll want to spend as much time as possible in this remarkable environment After all, once you've seen the view, felt the energy, and experienced the creativity in the air...working anywhere else just won’t feel the same.
Interested?
If you’re ready to elevate your career and be part of a studio that leads by example, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today, and take the first step toward a role where your growth and success are paramount.
