Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Azure and AWS to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in automating and optimizing our software development and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based infrastructure. If you are passionate about DevOps, have a deep understanding of Azure and AWS services, and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, we'd like to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Create and maintain infrastructure as code scripts and templates using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager to provision and manage cloud resources.

2. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, and GitHub Actions to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.

3. Containerization and Orchestration: Containerize applications using Docker and manage them with Kubernetes on both Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).

4. Monitoring and Logging: Configure and manage monitoring and logging solutions like Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, and ELK Stack to ensure real-time visibility into system performance and security

5. Security and Compliance: Collaborate with the security team to implement best practices for securing cloud resources, including IAM policies, network security, and vulnerability scanning.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to identify opportunities for automation, performance optimization, and cost savings.

7. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, providing root cause analysis and implementing solutions.

8. Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and processes.

9. Process Improvement: Continuously identify areas for process improvements and operational efficiencies and actively contribute to delivering these enhancements.

10. Innovation: Identify opportunities for innovation and improvements in software development processes, tools, and technologies.


Education & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Azure and AWS.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Deep knowledge of Azure and AWS services, including compute, networking, storage, and database services.
  • Experienced with building platform releases CI/CD. Knowledge for building deployment with no service disruptions, canary releases, Blue Green etc.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Gitlab) and CI/CD tools. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools. (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments. (Security scanning, patching etc. )
  • Knowledge and good understanding for Ideal path to live Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications in Azure and AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer).
  • Knowledge of serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
  • Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
