A leading automotive manufacturing company that specializes in producing high performance vehicles is currently hiring a Dynamometer Set-up Lead Engineer. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering design and vehicle test teams to ensure the products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.


The Dynamometer Set-up Lead Engineer will:

  • Pioneer the set up of industry leading Dynamometers for the testing of high power EV powertrains.
  • Analyse test data to identify performance trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to monitor and troubleshoot issues.
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans for electric motor and fan systems.
  • Document test procedures, results, and calibration data in detailed technical reports.
  • Develop and implement calibration strategies to optimize motor performance and efficiency.


The Dynamometer Set-up Lead Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in setting up dynamometers for EV powertrain testing and calibration.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink).
  • Broad understanding of electromagnetics & motor control and an understanding of drive system efficiency and performance.
  • Experience with dynamometer testing and other motor test equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
