Our client is a growing bank with a fantastic, innovative proposition with a genuinely market leading product suite. Due to their ongoing growth the company now seeks a Regional Account Manager - Bridging &Specialist Mortgages - Mids & SW to join their busy team.

The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for producing appropriate business levels from both new and existing brokers in order to achieve commercial targets, by developing and managing a strategy to maximise the business levels.

The post-holder will engage with large, complex regional accounts engaging with all levels of the firm developing a strategic plan to develop strategies to maximise business production. In addition, they will Identify a cohort of suitable brokers, segment the data base and apply differentiated treatments to develop a consultative sales strategy to drive additional business.

The Regional Account Manager will play an important role in mentoring, developing and providing guidance to the BDMs and Telephone BDM team, acting as a senior level subject matter expert within the sales structure and engaging with key accounts to maximise business production. This role will act as an escalation point for complex issues referred up by the wider team, using their expertise to resolve these issues whilst under pressure.

Purpose & responsibilities of the Regional Account Manager - Bridging &Specialist Mortgages - Mids & SW role;

  • Develop relationships at all levels with Intermediaries to enable successful business development
  • Use product knowledge and market expertise to network both internally and externally with brokers in order to build key relationships and increase business
  • Regularly attend appropriate meetings and events, conveying a professional image of the company,, so that mutually beneficial relationships are established, maintained and leveraged
  • Create and implement defined strategies and plans with senior managers, telephone sales, operational teams and marketing to effectively and efficiently maximise business opportunities
  • Be a brand ambassador for the Bank, in all interactions with Intermediaries enhancing the reputation of the Bank
  • Represent the channel in internal and external meetings and articulate the strategy, challenging and presenting new ideas when appropriate.
  • Take full responsibility for regulary updating own knowledge on company products, processes and procedures in order to provide the best information at all times
  • Understand and keep up to date on competitors products and market knowledge

Skills & knowledge of the Regional Account Manager - Bridging &Specialist Mortgages - Mids & SW role:
