Trade Execution Researcher

The QES team in a global Quant Hedge Fund is now looking for an Execution Researcher to help improve the fund’s execution capabilities.


Working in a collaborative team you will work across a variety of cash and derivative products.


Role and Responsibilities:


  • Develop methodologies to compare broker algo trading performance
  • Recommend improvements to trading algo performance and reductions in trading costs
  • Evaluate new technologies and trading environments
  • Consult with PMs on execution
  • Build / maintain quant models and software solutions measuring price, reversion, alpha etc.
  • Automate research and trading processes


Skills and Qualifications:


  • At least 5 years’ buy side experience in global equity market microstructure, TCA and trading system design
  • Excellent Python coding
  • History of working on / with Quant Research projects


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • GUI development
