Job Title: Lead DevOps Engineer

Company: SaaS

Location: London

Salary: Up to £120k + Healthcare, Bonus & Shares


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS/GCP and a deep understanding of DevSecOps tools (such as Snyk, AquaSecurity, and Fortify) and Kubernetes.


AWS certifications are a significant bonus, alongside experience in SaaS/Healthcare/Fintech, due to similar security environments.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement, and maintain a highly available and scalable Kubernetes cluster.
  • Automate the deployment and scaling of applications and services on the cluster.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the cluster and its applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure applications are designed for scalability and high availability.
  • Implement and maintain security practices and ensure that systems are secure against threats
  • Contribute expertise to identify options, risks, and potential operational issues.


Qualifications:


  • Six years experience in a similar DevOps or Platform position
  • Expert in the Software Development Lifecycle with both a Dev and Ops mindset
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, especially in production environments
  • Experience using or deploying device-based trust applications (Okta Verify, Google BeyondCorp).
  • Familiarity with RBAC/ABAC concepts and operating policies.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Prometheus
  • CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
