We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to work as part of our Global IT Support team. You will be working closely with our technical and security teams, with a focus on supporting and improving our service delivery and end user experience. We are looking for someone with an excellent service driven approach who has the technical skills to provide our staff and wider business with a professional and quality level of support. As well as providing IT support you will be involved with improvement projects and ensuring our Technology provision runs smoothly and securely.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will be supporting the Global IT Support Manager. Activities will include Monitoring the IT Servicedesk and assisting our staff with their technology requests. As a member of the IT Support team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our hardware and software assets.


What you will need to succeed

  • 3 Years work experience in IT support (essential)
  • User management skills with a proven working track record, using MS AD, Entra, Microsoft 365, MS Server, AV Monitoring & Encryption (essential)
  • Mailbox setup & management (essential)
  • Technical knowledge of both software & hardware (essential)
  • Be methodical when troubleshooting (essential)
  • Understanding of ISO27001, & ISMS Principles (essential)
  • Asset management experience (essential)
  • Demonstrable examples of organisation, prioritisation and co-ordination skills
  • Attention to detail with strong administrative skills
  • Ability to work in a team or a self-motivated environment
  • Have the skills to create detailed and concise user documentation
  • Knowledge of MS SCCM/Microsoft Configuration Manager
  • Have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy promoting new technologies to colleagues.

We welcome applications from candidates with either a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject or minimum 3 years’ experience in a responsible IT Support role.


We are looking for applicants with strong technical, communication and problem-solving skills. You will be able to plan, prioritise and execute multiple workstreams simultaneously across multiple technologies.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners, AV Equipment, Access Points, CCTV.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Updating service logs with work or tasks completed towards issue resolution
  • Providing technical support across the company and its regions (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Administrating user accounts
  • Ensuring accurate asset management records are maintained and updated.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
  • Identifying and delivering IT Support process & improvement projects
  • Testing new technology.
  • Support the IT Support Manager in driving change and improvement to existing systems and processes.
  • Share best practice and train team members.
  • Performing processes and tasks that support our ISO27001 certification.
  • Monitoring and Analysing security alerts and following up with the security team and end users.
  • Work with project teams to provide IT Support expertise, helping to create solutions that support project deliverables.
  • Maintain an organised and tidy working environment. As well as maintaining stocks of supplies and other IT consumables.
