With 1000+ lawyers, 300+ partners, 29 offices and 17 jurisdictions we are looking to expand our Patents team, with the addition of a Patents Paralegal.
The opportunity for youWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Patents Paralegal with a background in intellectual property or commercial litigation. This role will involve supporting our lawyers in complex patent matters, including litigation, strategic counselling, and transactional IP work.
Key responsibilities ·Assist lawyers in patent-related litigation, including organising documentation and managing case files. ·Preparing trial bundles for court hearings. ·Managing action lists on larger matters and assisting with the allocation of work flows. ·Conducting legal and technical research. ·Attending client and expert meetings. ·Supporting disclosure review exercises. Knowledge, skills and experience ·A bachelor's degree; paralegal certification desired but not essential. ·Experience as a paralegal focusing on intellectual property or commercial litigation. ·An interest in patent litigation and transactional IP matters. ·Strong communication skills for effectively collaborating with both clients and cross-functional teams within the firm. ·Proven organisational abilities to manage complex tasks concurrently under tight deadlines.
