Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract: Full-time

Currently seeking passionate and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our growing team.

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in resident well-being while leading and motivating a dedicated care team.


Role requirements:

  • Deliver exceptional resident care: In accordance with current best practices, ensuring resident comfort, dignity, and well-being according to care plans, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations, under the management of the Manager.
  • Assist with daily living activities: Including meals, personal care, medication, cleaning, assisting to get dressed including bathing and social interaction.
  • Communicating and collaborating: Liaise with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintaining accurate resident records.
  • Safety first: Ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.
  • A team player who thrives in collaboration and manages multiple priorities.
  • Must be an organised individual with a strong attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills with critical thinking and sound decision-making skills.
  • Trained in medication administration.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified and experienced Carer with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in care industry or as a Senior Care Assistant.
  • Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care or equivalent, comprehensive training and support is provided.
