Job Details

We are looking for a Systems Analyst to join our Global Verticals Operations team to ensure our production and data collection systems continue to evolve, and to enable consistency and efficiencies across our global markets.

The role is a hybrid role with the operations and tech teams. Where you will be responsible in reviewing existing processes and queries and help define new requirements to transform from current to future state. Also to support the operations team help provide solutions and fix with either inputs or outputs of data issues.

Role Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and logically minded candidate, who is keen to join a fast paced and innovative Global Operations team based in London. This is an important role in our growing business, so we can support our key clients in a wide range of industries stretching from technology, beauty and food and drinks such as Apple, Google, Samsung, L'Oréal, PepsiCo's ever-changing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the Product Director to assist in ensuring the Production / Data collection system evolves.
  • Designing and overseeing test specifications and conducting rigorous testing before rolling out live systems
  • Translate business requirements into system enhancements /project specifications for software development.
  • Working closely together with technical staff, such as Developers to ensure the technical viability of solutions.
  • Working with the operations teams, (global and local) to help review data collection and their outputs
  • Gain new skills/technologies by way of shadowing, training, self-learning.
  • Commitment to solutions, enhancements, and process efficiencies to help develop the team.
  • Handle daily batch job failures by way of analysing job failure, diagnosis and taking corrective action.
  • Assess and prioritise support issues raised by client service or operations, by demonstrating awareness of the severity of each problem.
  • Attend meetings with other areas of Operations and Commercial to understand requirements for Software Enhancements.
  • Utilise technical and programming skills to understand the business rules behind the processes of data.
  • Recommending solutions to recurring data issues/bugs and document accordingly
  • Providing regular progress reports to management
  • Create an End User Manual around the system.

Key skills/experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a numerical/computer/scientific discipline or equivalent experience in related role
  • Good understanding of database structures/systems
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, especially advanced Excel skills
  • Strong Mathematical/Logic skills
  • Good SQL knowledge (Azure SQL), e.g. able to read / interpret stored procedures.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are needed in order collaborate with and influence local operations teams to ensure projects/services are delivered to required timing/standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence senior operational team members in other countries.
