Tire Streets is an Ecommerce division under the ZAFCO umbrella. ZAFCO is a leading global presence in the tyre industry, designing and manufacturing a full portfolio of tyre brands and distributing them to retailers worldwide.


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to lead the growth and management of our tyre fitting network across the UK. In this high-impact role, you will take full ownership of building, expanding, and optimising a nationwide network of tyre fitting partners, encompassing everything from independent garages to franchise groups. This role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in business development, partnership management, and end-to-end project ownership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to establish a best-in-class tyre fitting network across the UK.
  • Build and maintain relationships with multiple franchises and independent garages to ensure national coverage for tyre fitting services.
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, driving sustainable growth for the network.
  • Lead the end-to-end process of onboarding new partners, from initial outreach to full integration.
  • Regularly travel across the UK to meet with key stakeholders, negotiate partnerships, and strengthen relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Ecommerce and Operations, to ensure seamless alignment between tyre sales and fitting services.
  • Leverage data analytics to monitor, report, and optimize network performance by region and partner.
  • Implement and continuously improve processes to maximize efficiency, customer satisfaction, and service quality.
  • Achieve and exceed key performance metrics, including network expansion, tyre fitment volumes, and turnaround times.


Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of proven success in business development or partnership management roles, ideally within the automotive, logistics, or retail industries.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale projects and managing cross-functional initiatives.

Skills:

  • Strategic thinker with a strong ability to identify and develop long-term business opportunities.
  • Advanced proficiency in sales forecasting, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in key business tools and software, including advanced Excel.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

  • Valid UK driver’s license.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, including trends and market dynamics.

Compensation

  • This is a full-time hybrid position (1 day a week in our Canary Wharf office, London)
  • Salary: Competitive compensation package including benefits.
  • Salary of up to £50k+ with a performance bonus of £4.5k.
  • Start date: Jan 2024
  • Hours: 9-5 Monday-Friday
