As a part of our dedicated Embedded Hiring team of Talent Partners you will deliver an internal recruitment service for one of our key accounts. The role will allow you to advise and shape their talent attraction strategy, improve their process and systems, create exciting candidate experiences and manage their hires end-to-end. We support some of the biggest sports organisations and teams in the world and they trust us to create an exceptional hiring journey for their managers and candidates.


What we are looking for:

Ideally you will be an experienced internal / in-house Recruiter, who is comfortable working directly with HR, hiring managers and key stakeholders to deliver excellent recruitment processes – both for your client and candidates. You will have experience of hiring various head office roles (marketing, commercial, operations, sales, HR etc) and sport specific / niche roles, from entry level positions to senior. You will be highly organised, have outstanding communication skills, and be passionate about all aspects of talent attraction and selection. You have probably been in recruitment for a while, have some experience of in-house or RPO, or are looking for that next step out of an agency to help grow a dedicated client’s business.


We also have new clients signing up to our embedded hiring services regularly so you may be interested in supporting other clients and sports businesses too in the future

Key Accountabilities:


  • Lead the day-to-day relationship with your client, hiring managers and candidates, ensuring an excellent experience for everyone from start to finish
  • Be the dedicated hiring partner for c10 hires per month
  • Advise the hiring managers on the best talent attraction channels and routes to market for their particular need
  • Support with writing great ad copy and promoting your vacancies in creative ways that truly represent your client and enhance their employer brand
  • Manage all approved client vacancies from advertising to placement – with expertise in shortlisting and interviewing
  • Manage your work in a highly organised manner through their ATS
  • Provide a great candidate experience on behalf of both the client and Global Sports, with timely updates and feedback throughout their application process
  • Work to the Service Level Agreements in place with your client, and ideally achieve above and beyond where you can
  • Collate the necessary Management Information to support the Account Management team and Head of Embedded Hiring to keep on track and up to date with progress
  • Co-lead on weekly management calls and monthly review meetings with the Account Management team, providing detailed insight on the account and highlighting successes and challenges
  • Work with the necessary systems and tools (ATS, job boards etc) to make sure that our data is handled carefully and with integrity
  • Provide regular market insight and candidate expectations for hiring managers and the client to understand the hiring conditions as they evolve
  • Look for ways for Global Sports to innovative our existing embedded hiring services and work with the Head of Embedded Hiring to develop additional benefits to clients
  • Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure we have a consistent and real time understanding of the client and the account – appropriately escalating anything that you need support with

Key Experience and Skills:


  • Strong proven experience of recruitment for the full lifecycle within corporate roles (sport, hospitality or events would be great)
  • Experience of in-house or RPO recruitment is highly desirable but not essential (as long as you can demonstrate transferable skills from agency)
  • Excellent candidate and hiring manager skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Great communication skills (languages other than English would be a big benefit)
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Highly organised and comfortable using modern recruitment technology platforms (ATS, LinkedIn, Job Boards etc)
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Experience of producing recruitment management information to track progress
  • Strong relationship skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Excellent shortlisting and candidate interview skills
