We are seeking an exceptional Group Sales Coordinator on a fixed term basis to join the Maybourne .

As a Group Sales Executive you will be responsible for daily administration and help with converting group enquiries for the Maybourne properties. This is an important role as it generates key revenue for Maybourne in both accommodation and events.


Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:


  • Pulling daily reports and distribute to the different departments, maintaining the filing system and general administration.
  • Handle small group / internal group requests from initial enquiry to contract stage.
  • Assist Group Sales Team in the organization of site visits and any other administrative tasks for the Head of Group Sales where necessary.
  • Ensure all telephone calls are answered quickly and efficiently within the required timeframe as per MHG Standards of Service.
  • Negotiate with the client to ensure we are competitive with the competitive set and convert group business.
  • Pro-actively follow up on all provisional bookings, keeping the Head of Groups Sales and Sales Managers informed as to the progress of all bookings.
  • Issue contracts upon successful negotiation, this includes calculating deposits and understanding cancellation policies.
  • Ensure information is entered in to salesforce correctly and within company standards. Enter notes, contacts and correspondences to ensure activities are tracked.
