Valcon are currently looking to onboard Business analysts who have previously worked within a consultancy to join the team in the UK on a permanent basis.

Overview of Consulting Practice:

Valcon provides consulting support to help clients protect and increase their margins, optimise their operational performance and improve productivity. We work closely with clients to map their vision, define the programme to achieve it and deliver the programme successfully, using a blend of Valcon’s consulting, data and technology expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Quickly understanding the business issues and challenges of client’s organisation and industry.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service/function/product provided.
  • Use data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for operational improvements and changes.
  • Communicate the benefits of recommendations and solutions across functions and address uncertainty and concern.
  • Undertake end to end business change impact assessments in conjunction with stakeholders.
  • Identify and evaluate potential solution options including opportunities and potential risks.
  • Manage the business requirements through the entire change/development lifecycle


Experience

  • Approximately 5 years of Business Analysis experience within a project delivery environment.
  • Ability to mediate between low-level technical detail and higher-level objectives
  • Experience working as a business analyst in a scrum team and supporting product owners to articulate business needs across epics, features and user stories
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to elicit requirements and key information
  • A thorough understanding of different delivery models including Waterfall and Agile
  • An understanding of test approaches and experience in supporting testing activities, including development and execution of test scripts
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • You will be able to understand client challenges and translate these into solutions.
  • Qualifications in Business Analysis and Agile
