Senior Project Planner

London Hybrid

We are seeking to hire a Senior Project Planner for a high-profile, multi-billion-pound tunnelling project in London for our client, a global leader in the construction industry,. This hybrid role involves working three days on-site and two days from home, offering flexibility alongside the opportunity to contribute to a landmark civil engineering programme.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage detailed project plans for major infrastructure projects.
  • Understand existing team/client workflows, mastering Project Control systems and processes, and continually seeking to streamline procedures.
  • Utilise extensive P6 experience to ensure accurate scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of NEC forms of contract to manage project risks and ensure compliance.
  • Lead MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) planning efforts on large-scale projects.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Collaborate within a multi-functional project team to achieve project objectives.
  • Extract, analyse, and interpret data to produce accurate, timely, and informative reports.
  • Identify root causes and impacts, providing insights to drive project success.


Job Requirements:


  • 5+ years of planning experience, preferably within major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in project planning with demonstrated success in previous roles.
  • Proficient in P6 software.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NEC forms of contract.
  • Experience in MEP planning.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to generate detailed reports and insights.
