Harnham is an established recruitment firm who specialise within data and analytics, we operate internationally and are hoping to grow our London team even more next year.


At Harnham our trainee position offers an industry leading training program that is designed to cultivate your career within the company. Recruitment


As a recruitment consultant at Harnham, you'll collaborate with clients in the data and analytics sector to fill their vacancies. Your focus will be on candidates with specific and sought-after experience and qualifications.


The recruitment process is broken down into four key stages:


  • Business Development: Actively bring in new business through cold-calling and networking, selling both your recruitment services and the Harnham brand.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Source the best candidates through job board postings and headhunting individuals with the required skills.
  • Process/Account Management: Prepare candidates for interviews, check in with both candidates and clients, and ensure the process runs smoothly.
  • Placement Negotiations: Close the deal when a candidate is offered the job, ensuring they receive the best offer and earning your well-deserved commission.

As global leaders in data and analytics recruitment for nearly two decades, Harnham offers a proven path to career progression. Our promotion system is target-based, with an average time to the first promotion being 9 to 11 months. Your journey through the program is supported by weekly and monthly meetings with your manager, ensuring you reach your targets and succeed.


As a Recruitment Consultant at Harnham, you'll earn commission on every placed candidate. This uncapped commission structure, with no threshold, means you start earning commission from day one. On average, our graduates earn £13 – £18k in commission during their first year at Harnham, bringing the OTE to £35-40k, including the base salary.

  • Experience in a customer or client-facing role: This could be any role where you work with people, such as hospitality, customer service, or similar.
  • Strong communication skills: Developed through university experiences, extracurricular activities, or past roles.
  • Desire to thrive in a sales environment: Recruitment is a sales-focused role in a fast-paced environment with targets and KPIs.
  • Understanding of recruitment as an industry: Essential to navigate agency recruitment successfully.
