If so, CONDUCTR wants you as our IT Manager This is a new role where you will oversee our IT infrastructure, ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and security of our systems and networks. With experience in Windows, Mac, and Linux, you will support our offices and people in the UK, US, and globally, contributing to our mission of creating extraordinary, guest-centric, 360 attraction experiences.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Oversee the IT department’s response to reported system and network issues (both wireless and wired).
  • Ensure timely resolution of hardware issues.
  • Provide support for remote deployments and manage related technical challenges.

Systems Management:

  • Supervise the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of hardware and software systems.
  • Manage and administer Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs and Servers.
  • Conduct regular audits and updates to ensure the security of IT infrastructure and data protection.

Network and Security Oversight:

  • Ensure high availability and reliability of network operations.
  • Implement comprehensive cybersecurity measures to safeguard organizational data.
  • Administer VPN access and manage remote connectivity for employees.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and present reports on IT system performance, issues, and solutions.
  • Maintain records of hardware and software inventory, ensuring documentation is up to date.

Budget Management:

  • Oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and managing financial resources efficiently.

Disaster Recovery Planning:

  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the organization’s IT systems can quickly recover from disruptions.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, specifically for our offices in the UK, US, and international operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to improve efficiency and security.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements to keep the organization at the forefront of IT innovation.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware and software procurement.


You should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security.
  • Experience with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
  • Experience setting up wired and wireless networks for new facilities.


It would be great if you have:

  • Experience managing IT for both in-house and remote employees.
  • Experience with IT in project-based environments, including remote deployments.
  • Familiarity with Windows IoT and Windows LTSC
  • Certification in IT security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AWS is a plus.
