Leeds UK, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom Safeguard Armour LTD Full time

Are you a highly ambitious, results-driven individual with a passion for streamlining processes and achieving exceptional outcomes? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you can make a tangible impact and be recognized for your achievements?

Safeguard Armour, a leading provider of innovative armor and tactical equipment, is seeking a proactive and driven Strategic Project Coordinator to join our growing company. In this high-impact role, you will be a key player in optimizing our operations, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving our ambitious expansion plans across 30+ countries.

Our Goal: To increase revenue in our armor and equipment division from £6 million to £20 million within the next 3 years. We're looking for someone who is as excited about this challenge as we are and who is ready to roll up their sleeves and make a real difference.

This isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to:

  • Lead with Efficiency: Become a key player in driving operational excellence and streamlining our processes to fuel our ambitious growth plans. You'll have a direct impact on our efficiency and effectiveness, transforming how we work and setting new benchmarks for success.
  • Make a Tangible Difference: Play a crucial role in launching new products and supporting strategic initiatives that will make a real difference in the world. You'll see your ideas implemented and make a direct contribution to the safety and security of those who protect us.
  • Achieve Recognition for Your Excellence: Your contributions will be highly visible and valued. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills, exceed expectations, and be recognized for your impact on the company's performance and growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive Operational Efficiency: Analyze existing processes and workflows across all departments, identifying bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement. You'll be a key player in streamlining our operations, developing solutions that maximize efficiency, and minimizing wasted time and effort. Focus on optimizing operations related to tender management, product development (helmets, plates, shields), and supply chain logistics.
  • Coordinate Key Projects: You'll be a vital part of our project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet our high standards. Your meticulous approach and eye for detail will be crucial in coordinating tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring seamless execution across departments like Product Development, Supply Chain, and Sales. This includes supporting the launch of our new clothing line, and contributing to the development of new materials for our new division.
  • Implement and Manage Change: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new or revised procedures, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and compliance. You'll bring your passion for structure and your talent for streamlining workflows to enhance our operations and drive greater productivity. Facilitate clear communication and teamwork across departments.
  • Track, Measure, and Report: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of your efforts, identify areas for further refinement, and showcase your contributions to the company's success. You'll be driven by tangible results and will find satisfaction in exceeding expectations. You'll also prepare regular reports for senior management, demonstrating your analytical skills and your ability to communicate complex data clearly.
  • Support System Implementation: You'll play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of our new ERP/MRP system (Hydacore), contributing to the automation and optimization of key processes. Your understanding of systems and your drive for efficiency will be invaluable in this critical initiative. Assist with data migration, user training, and system testing to ensure a smooth transition and maximize the benefits of this cutting-edge technology.
  • Tender Management & Proposal Development: Support the tender management process by analyzing government tenders, developing win strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to craft compelling proposals that meet the specific requirements of police, special forces, navy, and military clients in our 40 markets. Contribute to the development of marketing and product proposals for high-value customers, showcasing the value proposition of Safeguard Armour and Alphatec materials.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Contribute to improving and diversifying our supply chain operations, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency, cost reduction, and risk mitigation. Work with the supply chain team to implement new strategies and optimize existing processes. This includes exploring new sourcing options, negotiating with suppliers, and implementing inventory management systems.

Who We're Looking For:

  • A highly ambitious and organized individual with a proven track record of efficiently achieving goals and exceeding expectations.
  • A proactive and results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is eager to take initiative and make a tangible impact.
  • A skilled collaborator who can build rapport, communicate effectively with diverse teams, and navigate complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Someone who is eager to learn, adaptable to new challenges, and thrives in a demanding environment where excellence is expected.

At Safeguard Armour, we're on a mission:

We're passionate about protecting those who protect us, and we're building a company that is making a real difference in the world. We're not just selling products; we're providing solutions that save lives. We're a small but rapidly growing company with a global reach, and we're looking for talented individuals who share our ambition and our commitment to excellence.
