IT Trainer & User Engagement Manager


The Role

We are seeking a proactive Trainer & User Engagement Manager to join our IT team. In this role, you will lead software training and user engagement initiatives, working closely with various teams to enhance user skills and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Training

  • Create, update, and improve training materials, including slides and videos, ensuring they are effective and concise.
  • Design and deliver training sessions for new users as part of the onboarding process.
  • Provide training and refresher courses for both new and established users.


User Support

  • Develop and maintain user guides, videos, and FAQs to support users effectively.
  • Curate the resources area on the intranet to ensure it is engaging and user-friendly.
  • Offer tailored user support, both 1:1 and in groups, focusing on Liberate (practice management system) and Katchr (reporting dashboard software).


Business Improvement

  • Participate in monthly Innovations Group meetings and execute related actions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on software testing before upgrades, documenting outcomes and re-testing as required.
  • Engage with users to gather feedback on training and support improvements, implementing changes where agreed.


About You

You are a creative, solutions-focused professional with a talent for building and maintaining strong relationships. With at least 3 years of experience, preferably in a legal environment, you excel in designing and delivering IT training across diverse platforms. You are a team player with excellent communication skills, and you thrive on engaging with people across all levels of seniority. Sharing our values, you are passionate about making a difference.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in software applications training and user engagement, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Experience working with various software including any DMS such as iManage Work 10 and a PMS (we use Liberate)
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create concise, engaging, and informative training materials, user guides, and videos.
  • A professional, adaptable, and engaging training style that resonates with a wide range of users.
  • Strong understanding of systems and processes, with a focus on delivering an excellent user experience.
