Job Description:


We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Software Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyzing business processes, and assisting in the development and implementation of software solutions.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they are complete and unambiguous.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Work closely with the development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, define, and prioritize requirements.
  • Create detailed documentation including functional specifications, use cases, and process flows.
  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions.
  • Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to assess the viability of new initiatives.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure software meets business requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Monitor project progress and deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and management.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and modeling tools (e.g., UML).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices is a plus.
