Science Academic Mentor – Hackney – Immediate Start

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted interventions as a Science Academic Mentor in Hackney.
  • Support students in their preparation for GCSE science exams, helping them improve their understanding of key concepts.
  • Use your specialist knowledge to assist students who require additional support in science.
  • Collaborate with teachers and the learning support team to implement effective study strategies.
  • Monitor student progress, offering guidance and motivation to help them achieve their goals.

Requirements for the Science Academic Mentor Role:
  • A 1:1 degree in a science-related field from a top UK university.
  • Strong academic background with excellent GCSE and A-Level results.
  • Previous tutoring experience is highly desirable.
