Overview

As the IT Supervisor at Atrium Hotel Heathrow, you will play a crucial role in assisting our IT systems and operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our network, and implementing strategic IT initiatives to support our business objectives.

Duties

  • Experience in using Hotel Systems (Opera/Simphony POS/Inventory Management)
  • Managing Interfaces to and from PMS/POS/OPI/OXI/Telephony.
  • Managing Telephony/Cloud Anti-Virus Policies/IP TV/Audio-Visual.
  • Managing Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.
  • Project work experience is essential.
  • Experience in managing AD Infrastructure and implementing Group Policies.
  • Progressive practical IT experience within a larger enterprise hotel within an upscale and fast paced environment will be an advantage.
  • Having a thorough understanding of Server and overall network maintenance.
  • Providing user support via the phone and emails.
  • Configuring & building hardware
  • Creating & troubleshooting of user profiles & mailboxes
  • Diagnosis & resolution of a wide range of hardware issues such as routers, switches, access points, PCs, laptops, printers, VoIP telephony
  • Escalating issues that cannot be resolved
  • Have excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of wired and wireless networking including access points & managed switches.
  • Must be self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Detail orientated with a focus on customer service.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all PCs, printers, photocopiers, scanners, telephones, POS terminals, and credit card terminals and coordinate quarterly preventative maintenance.
  • Managing and Installing SSL Certificates for various internal domains.
  • PCI SAQ submission and all related activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in network engineering, information security, and IT management roles
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in utilizing tools like SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Opera, Dormakaba, Symphony and other hospitality software(s) for IT operations
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
