We have a vacancy for an acoustic consultant to work within the consultancy division of this independent acoustic consultancy.


The role involves the assessment of noise and vibration and providing suitable advice with regards to the control of noise within a varied number of fields. These fields include noise surveys and assessments for commercial and residential development; control of noise breakout and building acoustics; noise at work assessments; sound insulation tests and general acoustic design issues relating to the built environment.


All candidates are expected to have a degree either in acoustics or a scientific/engineering discipline or, for non-recent graduates, practical experience of working within an acoustic consulting or larger engineering company.


Candidates who also have an IoA Diploma in Acoustics will be considered favourably.


All candidates are expected to hold a full UK driving licence. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience (ranging from £25,000 for a fresh graduate to £35,000 for candidates with 2-3 years experience). A company vehicle will be provided.
