Junior Womenswear Designer – High Street supply

Location: East London

Product Area: Womenswear highs street supply

Salary – To £27K depending on experience + Bens


We are working with a small and growing fast high street supplier of soft separates and Outerwear who are looking to add two Junior designer to the team. As Junior designer you will be working under the guidance of a design manager who will be looking for support in designing outerwear and soft separates for several large and small high street retailer and supermarkets. daily contacting factories (based in the far east) range building, trend analysis and research, help in client meetings to present ranges and impart knowledge of latest trends and innovation.


MUST HAVE TO BE SHORTLISTED


Recent experience working in womenswear high street supply and a passion for the product ( 12 months grounding at least )

Design experience of designing Outerwear / soft separates

First class communication skills (written and verbal)

Track record of working with overseas factories (ideally far east)

Technically able to use Illustrator / Cad

Team Player but equally able to work unsupervised.

Commutable to East London and eligible to work in the UK for 5 or more years.
