About the role:


We're seeking a strategic and technical Product Marketing Manager to spearhead the creation and execution of product roadmaps aligned with market demands. You'll be the bridge between product development and marketing, translating market insights into product requirements and positioning our offerings for success. This role requires a deep understanding of both technical aspects and marketing best practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy (Heavy Emphasis):
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
  • Analyse market data and competitor landscapes to inform product roadmaps and feature prioritization.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to define product requirements based on market insights and technical feasibility.
  • Develop compelling product narratives that resonate with target audiences and address their pain points.
  • Work closely with product managers to ensure product features align with overall business objectives and go-to-market strategies.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Possess a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the product and its underlying technologies.
  • Translate complex technical features into clear and concise marketing messages for diverse audiences.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering teams to understand development timelines and potential roadblocks.
  • Identify technical differentiators and leverage them to create a competitive advantage.
  • Marketing Execution:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive product launch plans, including marketing campaigns, sales enablement materials, and product collateral.
  • Manage product messaging and positioning across all marketing channels.
  • Track and analyze product performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement product pricing strategies based on market research and competitive analysis.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, or a related field (technical background a plus).
  2. 5+ years of experience in product marketing or a related field, with a strong track record of product launches.
  3. Proven experience in conducting market research and applying insights to product strategy.
  4. In-depth understanding of product development methodologies (Agile preferred).
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with product development, sales, and engineering teams.
