We have a fantastic opportunity for an Interim Senior Litigation Lawyer to join a FTSE 100 listed business based at their UK head quarters in the East Midlands. Their legal team plays a crucial role in supporting business operations and ensuring compliance with the highest legal stands.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Litigation Lawyer to join their legal team on a temporary basis on a 12 month contract. This role is designed to provide expert legal support and representation in litigation matters, ensuring the effective management of legal risks and disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and manage a diverse range of litigation cases, particularly those related to construction, property and commercial disputes.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, providing clear and practical legal advice to support business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent the organisation in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies aligned with the company's goals.

Requirements

  • UK Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 7 years PQE in litigation, ideally specialising within commercial or construction matters.
  • Demonstrable expertise in managing complex litigation cases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and adeptness in negotiation and advocacy.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
