Job Title: Valuation Control Analyst
Location: London
Salary: £45k-55k p/a Base + Bonus
Our client, a high-profile global investment bank are looking to find a Valuation Control Analyst for their team in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform independent price verification (IPV) and apply fair value adjustments.
- Work closely with senior staff across Global Markets trading, risk management, and finance
- Improve valuation control processes, focusing on derivative products, price methodologies, and market risk
- Test and model trader-marked prices and prices from external sources.
- Collaborate with front office and risk management teams to streamline processes and ensure accurate valuations.
- Utilize tools such as Python, SQL, VBA
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate would have previous experience working as a Trading Analyst or Analyst in a Market Risk, Product Control, IPV or Valuation Control function within a recognised financial services firm.
- Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Finance.
- Understanding of derivatives, valuation, and risk management.
- Advanced Excel skills; coding knowledge (Python, SQL) and experience with data tools such as Alteryx, Dataiku, and PowerBI is advantageous.
