What you will be doing:

Working as part of the team across three shifts, you will be required to carry out masking of shafts for both abrasive blasting and painting. You will:

  • Work to technical instructions.

  • Identify areas that require masking, either through manual or mechanical means, for both the blasters and paint sprayers.

  • Follow all HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) procedures and regulations, maintaining a safe clean and tidy work area.

  • Interpret Manufacturing drawings and written specifications.

  • Deliver right first-time quality for each operation.

  • Quality-check your own work and complete the relevant documentation accurately.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial although full training is available.

  • Awareness of health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations in a production setting.

  • Ability to operate safely and deal with any discrepancies or issues while following correct procedures.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and to communicate well with others.
