Full time (3-shift pattern, mornings afternoons and nights, 37h/week)

In this role, you will be working on some of the best products in the industry across major aerospace engine projects. You will carry out masking of shafts for abrasive blasting and painting.

What you will be doing:

Working as part of the team across three shifts, you will be required to carry out masking of shafts for both abrasive blasting and painting. You will:

• Work to technical instructions.

• Identify areas that require masking, either through manual or mechanical means, for both the blasters and paint sprayers.

• Follow all HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) procedures and regulations, maintaining a safe clean and tidy work area.

• Interpret Manufacturing drawings and written specifications.

• Deliver right first-time quality for each operation.

• Quality-check your own work and complete the relevant documentation accurately.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial although full training is available.

• Ability to operate safely and deal with any discrepancies or issues while following correct procedures.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Ability to work as part of a team and to communicate well with others.
