Position Summary:

A leading facilities management company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bid Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take charge of the bid management process and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. The Bid Manager will be responsible for developing and managing competitive bids, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the client's requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end bid process, from initial inquiry to submission.
  • Coordinate and manage bid teams, ensuring all members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain a bid library of standard responses and templates.
  • Analyze client requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Write and edit bid documents, ensuring they are clear, concise, and compelling.
  • Work closely with sales, finance, operations, and other departments to gather necessary information for bids.
  • Ensure all bids comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Manage post-bid activities, including debriefs and contract negotiations.
  • Continuously improve the bid process, incorporating feedback and lessons learned.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bid management, preferably within the facilities management or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of managing and winning bids.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and bid management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
