Group Financial Accountant

Jenson Fisher, have been engaged on an exclusive basis to recruit a Group Accountant, on a full-time permanent basis for a rapidly expanding client based in North Lanarkshire. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the successful candidate will be Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/CA) and will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of a group of companies within a dynamic organisation. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be tasked with driving forward process improvements whilst also ensuring that reporting deadlines are achieved in an accurate and timely manner.
On a day-to-day basis your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for preparing Monthly MI for the Group and a number of affiliated companies
- Assisting with Audit, Control and Reconciliation of the business assets - Hire Finance, Business Insurance, Banking arrangement etc.
- Working with the team to identify and implement operational processes and systems improvements
- Cost and Overhead control.
- Ad hoc reporting
Background and Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or ICAS)
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in management and statutory accounts
- Highly proficient in Excel and knowledge of Sage 200
- Enthusiastic proactive attitude with strength to work under pressure
- Able to convey financial information to a variety of stakeholders
- A desire to continuously improve and innovate.
The successful incumbent will be confident communicating with senior leadership and driving projects, and process improvements with a real desire to make a difference and work alongside other talented finance professionals in a dedicated team.
