They are currently looking for a Corporate Finance Associate with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact deals in the energy transition and climate technology sectors, working closely with both established and emerging players.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and support M&A transactions, capital raising processes, and other corporate finance projects.
  • Conduct detailed financial modeling, company valuations, and scenario analysis.
  • Prepare and present transaction materials, including information memoranda, management presentations, and financial models.
  • Manage and coordinate due diligence processes, including liaising with clients, legal teams, and other advisors.
  • Conduct market and industry research to support strategic recommendations and valuation analysis.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitive positioning, and regulatory developments in the energy and climate tech sectors.
  • Work closely with senior team members to advise clients on strategic options, deal structures, and market opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and industry partners.
  • Assist in the origination of new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and contributing to pitch presentations.
  • Take ownership of specific transaction workstreams, ensuring timely and accurate execution of deliverables.
  • Collaborate with junior team members, providing mentorship and guidance to support their development.


Key Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or financial advisory, with a strong focus on deal execution.
  • Solid understanding of the energy or climate tech sectors, including key business models, technologies, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, including DCF, LBO, and precedent transaction analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields. CFA or ACA qualification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus but not required.
