Human Resources Business Partner

Bicester UK, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom BRITA Group Part time

About You

Are you a HR professional that likes to get things done? Do you want to be part of a business that genuinely cares about its people? This is a chance to do both of these things; to get involved in every aspect of HR and to do so in a team environment where you can have a real say in what is done and in how it is delivered. Ours is a small team, and we want someone to join us who will be part of thinking about and shaping what we are doing and how we are doing it, and then play a leading role in delivering as we support the business and help it grow and develop.

Most importantly, we care about doing things that will make a difference, and if you do too we would love to speak to you.

About the role

This role reports to the UK Head of HR, working with two HR Advisors, a HR Administrator and a Talent Acquisition Partner. We believe that HR has a vital role to play in business and in making BRITA a great place to work. Enabling people to have the best possible working experience that is welcoming to all, and helping the business to get the best out of everybody in a fair, respectful and equitable way is our core purpose as a HR team. Our annual plan is all about the initiatives that keep making this a reality, and the HR Business Partner role is integral to developing that plan and delivering projects as part of it.

You will be leading on specific HR workstreams, including areas such as the employee survey, policy alignment and implementation, development and improvement of ways of working, developing/delivering training and well-being and DEI initiatives.

This position is based in Bicester on a hybrid basis (3 days per week in the office) with some travel to the other UK sites (mainly Uxbridge). Hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday (35 hours per week). While this is intended as a full-time role, we are open to people seeking part-time (to 0.8 FTE) and are happy to discuss flexibility around exact working hours.

About BRITA

Here at BRITA we are at the forefront of sustainability and are passionate about changing the way people drink water. We are continuously striving to increase the efficiency and performance of our products with a primary focus to reduce our environmental impact

BRITA are a forward thinking, family owned global business who care about our employees, creating career and advancement opportunities within an inclusive and diverse environment.

We have 4 sites in the UK employing over 200 people, with most of our staff based in either Bicester or Uxbridge.

To be successful in this role

This is a position for a true HR Generalist with experience and knowledge across the full range of HR activities (qualified to CIPD Level 5), and an understanding of how all of the different aspects of HR work together and interact to deliver an effective working environment. Our staff in the UK includes site-based production teams, field-based engineering and sales teams and the full range of corporate/commercial roles, so a background in working with disparate stakeholder groups is hugely important, as is the ability to forge strong relationships throughout the business.

Because you will be leading on specific projects and various elements of the annual HR plan, being organised, methodical and proactive in your approach is going to be vital. Working with and supporting the HR Advisors will give you the opportunity to share your knowledge and coach them in their growth and development. An analytical mindset and aptitude for understanding data and drawing out insights would be highly beneficial.

We are looking for someone who really cares about what HR can do to help a business thrive and grow and wants to be part of a team that delivers real value to the business and the employees.

What’s in it for you?

Annual salary of £50,000 plus bonuses

Car allowance

23 days leave per annum + bank holidays

Excellent pension scheme

Free access to Employee Assistance programme and the opportunity to join our Private Health Cover

Employee discount + monthly staff allocation for BRITA
