Carbon60 are working alongside a global and market-leading pension services company who are looking for several Senior Pension Administrators to join them on an initial 6-month contract.


Main Responsibilities

  • Take on advanced calculations and complex schemes (DB, DC, or hybrid).
  • Provide expert advice on pension scheme management and regulatory compliance.
  • Be a senior point of reference on technical issues and non-standard cases.
  • Deal with potentially complex and technical pension related complaints.
  • Oversee pension plan administration, including benefit calculations and funding strategies.
  • Play an active role in mentoring and checking the work of more junior Pension Administrators, including training, mentoring, and supporting.
  • Assist in more complex/project work when required including complaints.
  • Ensure that targets and deadlines are met.
  • In conjunction with the team leader(s), ensure that all service level agreements (SLAs) and performance standards are achieved.


Required Skills & Experience

  • At least least 4-5 years' experience in pension administration and/or consulting.
  • Strong experience with DB, DC, and hybrid pension schemes.
  • 'Cradle to grave' pension experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Knowledge of UK pension regulations and scheme management.
  • Prior experience dealing with a high volume of pension related complaints.
  • Experience of dealing with occupational pension schemes.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills, and comfortable prioritising own workload.
  • Ability to lead on projects and mentor more junior team members.
  • Computer literate.


Contract Specifics

  • Contract Length: 6-months, with the likelihood of extension(s).
  • Pay Rate: £300-£350 per day (Inside IR35), depending on level of experience.
  • Pay Rate: Full-time, 40 hours per week (5 days).
  • Office Location: London.
  • Working Flex: Fully remote.
