Summary of International Treasury Analytics Team
The team’s main responsibility is to deliver analytics and reporting of key internal liquidity metrics and associated cost allocation impacts to the Equity and Fixed Income business units, senior Treasury management and internal governance committees.
We are seeking innovative and inquisitive minds that want to apply technology, data analytics and new techniques to traditional Treasury activities.
Key Deliverables of the Role
- Document the internal current state Treasury liquidity metrics methodologies. Develop end-to-end high quality documentation to summarise and explain logic and rationale of current implementation including worked examples and sample datasets.
- Help deliver the Treasury aspects of a major project within equities (TRANSCEND) to replace existing data sourcing to deliver enhanced multicurrency reporting.
- Support delivery of programme to automate Treasury Analytics reporting by working with IT to define, test and implement automation of manual processes.
What we look for in a candidate:
Personal skills:
- Good communication skills. Strong analytical skills, highly numerate and strong attention to detail. Ability to manage complex data sets in Excel files.
- Excellent documentation skills and experience of IT implementation of complex data and logic.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and prioritise appropriately
- Enthusiasm and strong desire to learn about how financial institutions finance their own activities and manage funding and liquidity risk.
Experience/ Knowledge:
- Business Analyst experience of implementing process change & automation. Partnering with IT to develop requirements and support AGILE implementation
- Understanding of Treasury & Finance within a financial institution ideally including experience of risk (ideally liquidity) reporting in a financial institution
- Knowledge of Treasury Funds Transfer Pricing methodology & secured funding markets and products
