About Us

Regent is proud of our distinctive student experience, driven by excellent teaching and strong support. We are on an exciting path to secure university title and new degree-awarding powers, and as part of this, we're building a new Student Experience and Engagement function to enhance student participation and outcomes. Join us as we shape the future of Regent and drive meaningful change.

Why This Role?

If you’re ready to take a bold leap in your career and help shape something entirely new, this is the role for you. As Student Voice Coordinator, you’ll be instrumental in building a new student voice and insights function from the ground up. You’ll have the chance to lead initiatives, drive meaningful student engagement, and play a crucial role in developing a strategic vision that will have a lasting impact on the College.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to advance their career, leveraging their experience to create and lead innovative student representation systems. You’ll be working closely with key decision-makers and stakeholders, influencing how the student experience evolves at Regent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape the Function: Lead and develop student voice campaigns, representation initiatives, and feedback systems, establishing the core framework for how student input shapes College decisions.
  • Drive Engagement: Work directly with student representatives, volunteers, and stakeholders to strengthen connections between the student body and the administration.
  • Innovate & Lead: Take ownership of events and initiatives, from large-scale student surveys to staff-student liaison committees, ensuring students feel empowered and heard.
  • Strategic Impact: Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure student feedback is integral to the College’s growth, using data-driven insights to recommend improvements.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Strong experience in student engagement, event management, or a related field, with a desire to lead and innovate.
  • Proven success in planning and executing projects, especially those with diverse stakeholders and large-scale impact.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Desirable:

  • Experience managing focus groups and utilizing CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with higher education policy and regulatory environments.
  • A keen understanding of diversity and the challenges faced by underrepresented student groups.

What We Offer

  • This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), with flexibility to accommodate work/life balance, including some remote working. Our team comes together once a week in the office (insert day), and you will regularly be on-site for event support. Regent operates seven days a week, with some evening and weekend work required.
